What We Do:

AHS provides practical, engineered hygiene solutions built around on-site ECA generation technology. Our Hygiene technology is supplied and supported out of Europe.

We support customers with:

  • On-site application specific HOCl and Catholyte solution generation systems
  • ECA generator supply and support
  • Turnkey hygiene projects
  • Smart Hygiene integration
  • Spares, servicing and technical support
  • Project design, installation and commissioning support
  • Operator training and hygiene system optimisation

We are not just suppliers; we’re your application partners. Beyond delivering equipment, we help you understand where ECA technology fits into your process, how to apply it effectively, and how to sustain performance over time.

The Technology:

Electro-Chemical Activation, also known as ECA, uses water, salt and electricity in a specialized ECA generator that creates activated solutions for cleaning, disinfection and process hygiene.

Through a controlled electrochemical process, a diluted brine solution passes through specialised cells, producing two functional streams:

HOCl/ Anolyte Solution

Commonly referred to in the industry as anolyte, this is the primary disinfection solution. At the correct pH, it contains hypochlorous acid, HOCl, which is widely recognised for its microbial properties.

NaOH/ Catholyte Solution

An alkaline solution used in selected applications as a detergent in cleaning operations

AHS focuses strongly on HOCl solutions because they offer a practical alternative to traditional chemical disinfectants, particularly where safety, easy handling, sustainability, and reliable microbial control matter most.

Why HOCl Solutions?

HOCl solutions give facilities a powerful hygiene tool, consistent microbial control without the harsh or high-risk chemicals. They match traditional disinfectants on efficacy while cutting the toxicity, handling hazards, and environmental residue.

Once generated, monitored and applied, HOCl solutions support:

  • Surface disinfection
  • Process water hygiene
  • CIP and COP equipment sanitation support
  • Biofilm Elimination and control
  • Food and beverage hygiene programs
  • Live Animal infection control
  • Cooling water and water system hygiene
  • Agricultural and livestock water applications
  • Hospitality and facility hygiene
  • Maritime and remote-site water treatment
  • General industrial sanitation

The key advantage is on-site generation. Instead of transporting, storing and dosing large volumes of conventional chemicals, operators can generate HOCl solutions where and when they are needed.

A Smarter Alternative to Traditional Chemical Supply

Traditional hygiene systems depend on chemical procurement, transport, storage, manual handling, dosing risk and ongoing procurement uncertainty.

By generating HOCl solutions on site, customers can improve operational control and reduce exposure to supply chain disruptions. The system can be integrated into existing hygiene programmes, supported by clear SOPs, technical servicing and application-specific guidance.

The result is a cleaner, safer and more resilient hygiene approach.

Compliance and Technical Suitability

HOCl solutions must be applied correctly and in line with local regulations, site requirements and approved uses.

AHS works with customers to ensure that each application is technically suitable, properly evaluated and supported by the correct operating procedures.

Important factors include:

  • Water quality
  • Required concentration
  • pH
  • ORP
  • Contact time
  • Application method
  • Surface or process compatibility
  • Local regulatory requirements
  • Hygiene objective
  • Existing site SOPs

Getting HOCl right is where experience matters. Every application has to suit the site, the surface, and the local regulations — so AHS works with you to evaluate each one properly and back it with the correct operating procedures.

Key factors we assess with you:

  • Solution performance — required concentration, pH, ORP, and contact time
  • Site fit — water quality, application method, and surface or process compatibility
  • Compliance — local regulatory requirements and approved uses
  • Integration — your hygiene objective and existing site SOPs

Why Choose AHS?

AHS combines electrochemical hygiene technology with real-world operational support.

Customers choose AHS because we understand:

  • Food and beverage hygiene pressure
  • The importance of uptime
  • Service and spares continuity
  • Audit and compliance expectations
  • The need for safer chemical alternatives
  • The operational reality of factories, plants and remote sites
  • The importance of proper training and SOP control

We bring technology, technical support and practical implementation together under one solution.

In your operation, a hygiene failure is never just a hygiene failure. It’s a product recall, a failed audit, a line shut down, a contract lost — and a reputation that took years to build, undone in a news cycle. The cost of getting it wrong dwarfs the cost of getting it right.

That’s why customers choose AHS. We combine electrochemical hygiene technology with the real-world operational support that keeps failure off the table — because we understand what’s actually at risk:

  • Hygiene pressure — the relentless microbial control that food, beverage, and water operations can’t afford to drop
  • Uptime — every hour of downtime is lost production, so disinfection has to work without slowing you down
  • Continuity — service and spares when you need them, because “out of action” isn’t an option
  • Audit & compliance — meeting the expectations of regulators and auditors, every time they look
  • Safer chemistry — cutting the handling risks and hazards of harsh chemicals without giving up performance
  • Operational reality — solutions built for the real conditions of factories, plants, and remote sites
  • Training & control — proper training and SOP discipline, so performance holds long after install

We bring the technology, the technical support, and the practical implementation together under one solution — so hygiene is one thing you never have to worry about.
